Its like you learn my thoughts! You seem to understand so much about this, like you wrote the e-book in it or something. I believe that you simply can do with some p.c. to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, that is excellent blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.
When I would be a young boy and also did not know the way the internet labored, or even had a computer, we played in outdoors fields coupled with fun with each other, today it all happen on the internet, its technologies and in one method or another a good thing, these days it have become the life of many, sitting by yourself in front of the screen feeling you’ve got friends on the net, its kind associated with sad, but we simply need to live with this, its the so-called future…
[...] a look yourself here. Aside from the strength, durability, capacity and waterproof tests we have already tested for (in [...]
I would take it dalby forest with acres of woodland cycle trails and then a Picnic the monsters would put it through its paces
It would have to withstand the bath test…. my son would want to a) see if it could swim and b) see if it kept his stuff dry!!!
my 4 year old emily i have yet to see something that she cannot break so she def would be a great science test 5 thanks
test number 5 should be coming 2 seaworld with my family later this year see how it measures up next to Shamu,,we would sit it in the soak zone with my 9 & 4 year old to test if it really is waterproof ;)
would have to give to my nephew for a day with him dragging it everywhere to school and back out and about playing and if it survives that it’ll survive anything
I would take it to the beach and swim up to people with paddle pack on and see how many people we could scare!
Test 5 should definately be scare-ability.
i would give it to my four year old son whos favorite game is throwing things down stairs at the mo(roll eyes) i think this would be perfect for test five.
Test 5 – the hide and seek test!
We’d put it through the toddler hide and seek test! My 19 month olddaughter lovesto sneak away Daddy’s car keys, Mummy’s Mobile phone, the Remote control or her big brothers school books and hide them away, We’ve found the romote in her nursery bag, the school books under the couch, the mobile in the pocket of her rocking horse and the car keys inside her trunki before now! So our scientific test would have to be how easily she can hide things in it and how quickly Mummy can find them! :0)
If it floats. Would love to know if it fell of the boat how long it would last.
I would test how COOL it is in the playground we all know when a child has something new all their friends want a look. Keane 5 loves being centre of attention and im sure with my reccomending i could get you a fair few customers x
i wouldnt do a test but sure my 2 yr old son wud after a fun packed week with his aunty wo has no children of her own and who is in the royal navy they are going swimming safari park and sealife centre day trips which he wud need a good strong waterproof bag ha ha wonder if it would be strong enough for his aunty to hide after afew hrs lol as the royal navy aint got didderly squit on a 2 yr old boy x they both in for a full packed wk so a fab bag like this would defo be tried and tested in every way x
I would test the strength of the material (rip proof), My boy always disagree over who is having what and in the process it ends up them having a tug of war with the item and it ends up broken or ripped.
I’d get my little shark to have a whale of a time in all the puddles this summer, because yes we have had a few!
I would give it to my 2.5 year old daughter for a day. She would give it a good testing with all her pretend shop, play school role play, trips to the park for picnics and fun. She will probably give it a name, like everything she owns. Her favourite name or things is Betty, so it will be a great day of testing for Betty the bag.
Test 5 would for me just be a general test in our house. If it can survive my husband it can survive anything, but most importantly for my little one it would be could it fit his favourite books and his swim kit and favourite teddy as they must go everywhere with us.
Buoyancy test packed with everything my 3yr old wuld like to take with us to the beach/ pool, will it float if it was dropped in :) . Also maybe a tug test.
I’d strap the shark to an actual shark, and the whale to an actual whale with GPS inside and see where the bags end up and what state they are in when they get there…
I think it should go through the children fighting over which one can have it test.
I would just test it our in our lovely UK summer we are having! Plenty of chances to test it in this rain we’re having! ;)
I’d like to see how it copes with leaking sun cream, half eaten apples, banana skins and wet, sandy beachware, with a handful of seashells and seaweed – the remnants of a hard day at the beach with my toddler!
I’d do the toddler access test for test 5- can my toddler get his goodies out without having to get me to open it for him every five minutes!
Test no 5 would be a strength test which would involve my 2 little girls pulling either side of it. as I’m sure they’d fight over it if it were the only one in the house.
Test 5 – would be how it would cope with dirt, grass and mud as they would also be very useful for my sons football kit. Test 6 – would be the sand test and how it would cope with a day at the beach with my 4 year daughter.
My test 5 would be the enjoyment test! Let my two year old do what she wants with it, then we’re see how reliable they are. :)
The test would be to see how long my daughter could leave this cuddly shark out of sight for!!! I think she would want to bring it here, there and everywhere!!!!
My test would be the weight test after my 4yr old has put everything he ‘needs’ in to go to the seaside, can he still carry it!
I would give it to my 17 1/2 month old to see if it can withstand a day with her generally and my 3 1/2 year old wanting it for herself. That would be the ultimate test in my eyes!!!
I would subject it to the ‘Teeth Test’ – To prove it’s durability, I would give the paddlepak to my 10 month old ‘Shark Pup’. She a real biter so it’ll get a good tasting.. I mean ‘testing’ ;)
The Squishability test ! How small does it fold down to put inside my daughters Trunki to take on holiday with all her other must haves i.e Teddies, pencils & sticker books ! The list goes on!
My test would be how many soggy foam letters can we get in to take to grandmas house, my little boy insists he is taking them and they are always still soggy from bath time. We have hundred. Would love to get their with a soggy patch on the car seat from the bag he has put them in
my test would be to see if it survuves the tantrums and throwing about my nearly 2 yr old can do! if it can stand being thrown out of a car window or a pram and also being bitten to death due to an angry owner then it is deffo the bag for my son lol!!! also would it be able to cope with the sudden drowning in puddles when out on a wet walk!!!!
Test 5 should be to see if it cathes peoples eyes…. distinctive enough to remember …. how many times has a run of the mill swim bag been left or muddled up with someone elses?
I’d take my kids camping, its nice to know how many teddies and precious stones a bag can handle. It would be lovely if clothes actually made it into the bag, but I know my son too well, to hope for the impossible!
bike-ability test, can he or she ride their bike without the straps getting stuck on the saddle
I would take it on holiday with us and take it to the beach and then to a massive water park and see how it fairs with my daughter.
We would test it to see how clean it stays after a day trip with my 2 little ones & also how long they carry it themselves.
test 5 would have to be with my 2 boys who would take it to play in the woods behind our house as its muddy, has lots of climbing areas and plenty of grass to play on then see if it with stands the fighting over the 1 paddlepak between 2 boys :)
Test 5 would be how much the child loves the bag!! first impressions and also if they get bored of it easy :-D
My test would be the twin test! I have 2 year old twins so the pak would need to withstand arguing over it, pulling it in all different directions till one twin won! It would go through quite tough testing in our household from my two little girls :-)
I’d test the awesomeness to see how many people walk past and comment on how awesome the PaddlePak is
I would give it to the residents in the care home I work at ( young adults with learning difficulties ) if anything can withstand our play times then it must be strong :-)
Test 5- how long my 3yr old son will keep it on for and how easy to get off when he goes to bed with it :-)
TEST 5 – THE FIND IT QUICKLY TEST
My son has to place his bag in a pile of about 30 bags when they have outdoor activities or go on trips
This eye catcher will deFINitely save him FISHING about to find his , and possible save a mini tantrum
8 year old Joshua thinks test 5 should be: THE DADDY FORGOT TO PUT IT IN THE CAR TEST. Leave paddlepak on driveway and reverse over it to see if it gets damaged!
I would take it on The Underground when we visit London this year. I will be looking out to see how sooty and soiled it gets!
My daughter would test it out for sure, she ends up putting everything in the bath also naughty daddy loves to plash mil mil with the hose pipe heeeeeeeee that would deffo give a good test :)
We would test it by filling it with essential goodies (towel, snacks, crisps, oh and not forgetting toys…) then taking it to the front row seat in the splash zone when we go visit shamu the killer whale at seaworld orlando, next year – essential goodies stay dry? Passes the test!
The ultimate test, a taxi ride, a flight, a train ride, a shopping trip, time by the pool (gotta have a little relax) day at the beach filled with toys & then reverse the whole journey!
I would give it the Asbo Harry test…. my little 2 year old loves swimming and would certainly test this pack to the limit…..It might even end up in the swimming pool with him to see who swims the best !!!!
I would test whether it can withstand being turned into my son’s own portable beach as it is likely to get filled up with the sand, sea water, shells and any crabs that he is brave enough to pick up!!! I guess this would mean it would need to be waterproof (which it is), sand proof, protective to stop the shells breaking and crab resistant as I don’t think he wouls be too happy if the crabs pinched him while he was carrying his portable beach!
I would test it with soaking wet clothes to see if any leaks come through – then I would have the girls drag it around and throw it up and down (as they would) – knowing Trunki quality it would still be perfect xx
TEST 5 the hyperactive child test (a day with my 3yr old),much like a shark attack if the bag survives this it would be great 4 any use ;)
test 5 should be the comfort test ,,after my boys have stuffed it full of toys ,how long they can comfortably carry it bouncing, running & playing around b4 getting me to carry it 4 them ,as they always do xx
Definitely the ‘tug of war’ test – how long does it last with a four year old and two year old fighting over it???
I’d give it to my 10 month old boy. He manages to chew, slobber on, and break everything! If it’s still in one piece after he’s had hold of it, I’ll be impressed!x
My 6 year old son, Daniel, saw this video and his 5th test is: THE THROW IT OFF THE EDGE OF A CLIFF TEST (but make sure it doesn’t land in the sea in case a real shark eats it). if it survives the fall without tearing, it passes the test!
TEST 5: SCARED OF THE DARK TEST. Leave the whale and shark outdoors over night to see if they are scared when left alone outdoors and in the dark (many an item has had to endure this test when left accidentally in the garden). Throw in a good thunderstorm as we have just experienced today (hail, floods, thunder and lightening – AND my kids were playing in the garden through it!!!) and if they survive that, then I am sure they will survive anything that a child can put them through!
I would do the swim test – we know the bag is waterproof on the outside, but how will it cope with wet swim things. To be a little more fun you could always test and see how much water the bag would hold!! Then once you have the swim things home, how easy is it to dru or wash and keep clean.
My test 5 would be how many minutes ( or indeed hours) it is worn in a continuous stretch by a reluctant 4 year old who normally refuses to carry anything heavier than a Jaffa cake! I think my son would never want to take this off and it would be very useful for all trips out – not just the beach and swimming pool , ( just like Trunki Tiger seems to want to go everywhere – not just on holiday!) This would be hugely useful for parents who currently resemble pack horses with all their family’s bags drapped from every arm whilst their glorious offspring skip happily unburdened!
A ‘cool’ test. A bag is just a bag until it is cool…..
This needs the not too cool for school test! When stuffed with a pencil case, gym shoes, sweatshirt and left over lunch do the homework books emerge unscathed.
I’d do a test to check how strong the seams are by packing the bag until it almost bursts.
My Test 5 would be… The Random Object Storage Test. Kids are notorious for hiding things, moving things and then amazingly forgetting where they have put them. This includes objects such as Remote Controls, the Wipes (for parents with younger siblings), Phones etc…. This leads to common Phrases such as “WHO”S MOVED THE REMOTE!” and “OK, WHERE’S MY PHONE GONE” and “WELL, IT WAS HERE A MINUTE AGO”.
The Test would be pretty easy – The PaddlePak, to prove it is an attractive, and useful item for a Child to Store/hide/hoard objects of desire, then this is the first place for a Parent to look, and if the items are there, then Success, the PaddlePak would pass as being a favorite, yet useful place for the child to use for their Booty/Treasure/Unwanted Vegetables from teatime!
Joy
i would test it in a swimming pool and also with puddles in park and padding pool with my little boy and i would test on hoilday in disney world in the amazing waterparks and pools
Test 5 should be how much a child can actually pack into the bag and also can it also withstand a drink leaking ?
Test 5 should be the exploding fruit test!! how easy is it to claen a mashed up banana from, or an explode apple or orange??
Stay-Clean-Ability Test
I’d test how easy they are to clean and keep clean. I think this is essential criteria for buying anything for kids. I love the designs and the fact that they’re waterproof, but I’d hope they clean reasonably well, otherwise the cuteness (and adorableness) would be affected.
Would love the Killer Whale version! lol.
they would be taken for a trip to the isle of skye…my 5 year old son would be incharge with all his belongings in it….so plenty of testing by a kid and 2 year old sibling who would definitely be fighting over to have it…i hope the whale and shark likes the mountains though!!
Test 5 …. Can it double us as a teddy/pillow when out & about & my little one gets sleepy
The mouldy piece of fruit test..left at the bottom of he bag and whether it can be removed easily without leaving a stain or the chocolate hands test…sticky fingers and how quickly marks can be wiped off. @ali1471alison
a holiday test to see how they survived a plane journey and trips to the beach wit
Just noticed, the question had changed when I submitted the answer to the previous question – doh!
Test 5 – The Jealousy Test – Strap on the bag to one Brother (in our case, Joel Aged 5), then let him walk past his younger brother and sister (Twins, Leo and Scarlett – aged 3), and time how long it take before Jealousy kicks in and they both want the PaddlePak…. (Jealousy can be measured by noise level of who screams the loudest, fake crying, floor diving, and general tantrums… if all occur then Jealousy has passed and another 2 PaddlePaks must be purchased!
Steve
The perfect test 5 would be a day in the park with my little one and his buddy ‘Black’! :D
i would cheak to ma\ke sure its child freindly that would be my 5 test well thats wot my 9 yr old said xx
My sons have a habit of placing all there belongs in the dirtest place they can find. Grass & Muddy marks get everywhere.
Test 5! Let get Paddle Pak dirty and pop it in the Washing Machine. How clean will it come out ;)
Hi, the Killer Whale PaddlePak was performing the press ups in your Video – I think its fantastic that you run these competitions once a Whale!
BTW, who ‘ORCA’strated the music – its great!
My FINgers are crossed and I shoal await with baited breath!
Thanks
Steve (Dad of Leo, Joel and Scarlett).
My daughter loves packing bags – full to bursting… She could take one for a day packed full of random “stuff” which is absolutely and irrefutably needed to survive the day and carry it around… The bag would then have to survive various fights between my daughters over it, with possibly the cat trying it’s luck, too – so scratch resistance, dirt resistance and “rip”-resistance should be tested?!
A cutie test, a think that they pass
A nice picnic and day out at the beach :)
My test 5 would be Camouflage :) if you could swim with it on your back and have the fin sticking out of the water. I know my son would just love that :)
We would put the paddlepack through the sand extraction test……how long does it take to get all of the sand out and is it easy to clean quickly
I would give it to my almost 3 yr old for a day, see how well it survives the seaside with Granny, Grandad and his little brother who would no doubt be fighting over it!!!
I’d test the straps to see how strong they are
a day out at the zoo and the beach to see how well they can withstand being thrown dragged around and you never know a cheeky little money may try and have a grab lets see if it can withstand it lol
