It’s our birthday today! The company is 6 years old and we’re very excited about it.

I remember thinking what a great idea Trunkis were on Dragon’s Den. I thought my kids were too old for them at the time though. My 13 year old daughter has recently said she’d love one, so how about some funky Trunkis for teens!?!
Gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag from Holland! Mijn favourite Trunki we were in the shop looking at the Trunki cases and the assistant said there was NO WAY our 18 month old would be able to use it and we should consider coming back 12 -18 months later. Well he was out to prove her wrong, knocked over the whole display to get the Grufflao Trunki down and then toddled off on it around the shop! It’s the Dutch blood… goes all in the legs you see!!

My favorite Trunki moment was just getting it! We live in the US and read about the Trunki in a magazine. We bought ours in early 2007 and had to rely on our friends in England since that was the only place it was available. We had them order it and get it delivered to their house. Then they, in turn, shipped it to us. In all I think it took us a month to get it but it was so worth it!! 5 years on, our daughter still loves Trixie and refuses to let her go. Our second favorite moment was getting to meet Trunki daddy Rob at the old Magmatic office in Bristol and seeing him be proud as a peacock at how well his invention had held up to all of our world traveling abuse :D Trixie has been everywhere with us and is still as good as the day we got her. So Happy Birthday Trunki!!!! May you have many more years of great service!
Happy 6th birthday :) my best memory is my son trying to use the lid of the trunki toybox to surf across our living room, I almost had heart failure seeing him do it, but it did look fun, if I didn’t think that I would break a few bones I would so have a go myself
